Fire Fighter Camps provide classroom and practical training for young adults ages 14 - 17. These camps develop knowledge, skills, and abilities in firefighting and emergency operations. Young adults who are interested in the fire service as a career or looking for something different and fun to do over the summer are invited to check out these camps. California Cadet Academy, one week in duration held during the months of June, July and August is a residential summer camp for high-school aged students who are interested in becoming Firefighters, Police officers and Emergency Medical Technicians. Cadets who attend the Academy are trained in fire science, law enforcement and basic first aid (CPR certificate issued). The cadets are exposed to interactive scenarios that allow them to safely experience what Firefighters, Police Officers and Emergency Medical Technicians do on a daily basis.
